Photography Tips:

Taking photographs of children can be tough work, even for a professional. To ensure your family looks their best for your cards, we like to offer some helpful tips!

1.) Get close!

2.) Turn that flash off!

3.) Use natural light. An open window can be very helpful!

4.) Dress in simple clothing. Busy patterns can distract the eye from what everyone wants to see- their faces!!

5.) Children grow so fast, so take pictures of things when they are so little. Fingers and toes are everyone's favorites! Get pictures from all angles!

6.) For newborns, don't worry if they are asleep. Those sleeping babies make for some great pictures.

7.) Use simple props, a family blanket, a special stuffed animal, etc...

8.) For older children, head outside! The grass and landscapes make for wonderful backgrounds!

9.) Never put your camera down....SNAP AWAY!!!!
